Summary

Directs the Secretary of the Interior to study the feasibility of establishing a unit within the National Park System associated with the origins of jazz in New Orleans, Louisiana. Requires the Secretary to submit such study to specified congressional committees within one year after funds are made available. Establishes the Preservation of Jazz Advisory Commission to advise the Secretary in preparation of the feasibility study. Terminates the Commission after transmission of the report to the Congress. Authorizes appropriations.
