Gold Labeling Act of 1976

Summary

Requires that the actual fineness of any item made of gold or any of its alloys and sold by manufacturers or importers more than five years after the date of the enactment of this Act must not be less by more than three one-thousandths parts than the fineness indicated by any mark on the item or by its label.
