Summary
Amends the Clean Air Act to eliminate provisions relating to certain interim reporting dates for the National Commission on Air Quality. Extends the final reporting date for all Commission studies, investigations, and recommendations until March 1, 1981. Terminates the Commission: (1) on March 1, 1981, if the report is not submitted on March 1, 1981; or (2) on such date (but not later than May 1, 1981) as the Commission determines by order, if the report is submitted on March 1, 1981. Makes technical and conforming amendments. Declares that nothing in any other authority of law shall be construed to authorize or permit the extension of the National Commission on Air Quality pursuant to any Executive order or other Executive or agency action.
