Calls on the Chinese Government to: (1) resolve the political crisis in China without violence; (2) end martial law; (3) enter into a dialogue with representatives of the demonstrators; (4) permit a free flow of information about the democracy movement; (5) embark on a program of political reform; (6) refrain from imposing sanctions on participants in the democracy movement; and (7) release those Chinese citizens still imprisoned for the nonviolent expression of their political beliefs. Calls on all parties to resolve the crisis peacefully.
