States that the Congress commends the governments and peoples of the member nations of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) for their success in establishing a model for regional cooperation. Expresses the sense of the Congress that: (1) the United States should continue to support the economic and social development of, and trade with, ASEAN nations; and (2) the United States should continue to support ASEAN's efforts to secure a negotiated political settlement of the conflict in Cambodia.
