Urges the President to: (1) rescue refugees found in distress on the high seas; (2) airlift medical supplies and food to the refugee camps; (3) airlift Vietnamese refugees who have been admitted to the United States; (4) establish centers for medical care and to assist in the settlement of refugees; (5) establish a consular office in Vietnam for those wishing to emigrate; and (6) call upon the United Nations General Assembly to discuss sanctions against Vietnam for inhumane treatment of its citizens.
