Summary
Urges the Government of Gabon and incumbent President Omar Bongo to honor the pledge to adhere to international law by allowing a free and fair presidential election in Gabon in December 1993. Calls upon the President to continue to urge all parties in Gabon to help fulfill that pledge and encourage U.S. allies to do the same. Pledges to condemn any and all reversals in the process of democratization in Gabon.
