Summary

Declares that the Congress: (1) condemns the hijacking of the Achille Lauro and the murder of Leon Klinghoffer; and (2) calls upon all governments, organizations, and people of the Mediterranean region to take measures to ensure that the individuals responsible for such murder are found, prosecuted, and punished. Expresses the sense of the Congress that the President should convene an international meeting to determine the steps which must be taken to rid the world of hijacking and the taking of hostages.
