Expresses the sense of Congress that: (1) grave concerns exist concerning the People's Republic of China's (PRC) deployment of ballistic missiles directed toward Taiwan; (2) the President should direct U.S. officials to raise these concerns with PRC officials, and should seek a public and unequivocal PRC renunciation of any threat or use of force against Taiwan; (3) the President should abolish all restrictions on visits by U.S. military officials to Taiwan; (4) the President should authorize the Aegis system sale to Taiwan; and (5) Taiwan's future should be determined free from PRC coercion and with the consent of the people of Taiwan through a democratic mechanism such as a referendum.
