Summary
Expresses the sense of the Congress that the involvement of non-Angolan powers in the escalating civil war in Angola constitutes a serious threat to international peace. Expresses the concern of Congress that the covert intervention of the United States in Angola may lead to more massive American involvement. Calls upon the President to use the good offices of the United States to reach an agreement among all non-Angolan powers intervening in the Angolan civil war to end such intervention, to terminate United States involvement and to report to Congress on the steps taken to accomplish such tasks.
