Summary

Expresses the sense of Congress with respect to the action of the Government of Turkey in rescinding its ban on the growing of opium poppy, that the President is urged: (1) to exercising his authority to immediately suspend economic and military assistance to the Government of Turkey; and (2) to taking such steps as may be necessary, acting through the United States delegation to the United Nations, to protest its action, opium production and importation by the Government of Turkey.
