Summary
Condemns the bombings, acts of terrorism, and continued human rights abuses in the North of Ireland. Calls on the United Nations to: (1) condemn such bombings and seek an independent investigation apart from the Royal Ulster Constabulary (RUC); (2) form an independent inquiry into RUC harassment of human rights lawyers and the killings of Rosemary Nelson and others; and (3) investigate the systematic abuses by the RUC against the residents of the North of Ireland.
