Concurrent resolution establishing a Joint Committee on Aging.

Summary

Establishes a Joint Committee on Aging, to be composed of ten Members of the Senate, to be appointed by the President of the Senate, and ten members of the House of Representatives, to be appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives. States that it shall be the function of the joint committee to conduct a full and complete investigation and study of any and all matters pertaining to problems of older people, including, but not limited to, problems of maintaining health, of assuring adequate income, of finding employment, of engaging in productive and rewarding retirement activity, of securing proper housing, and, when necessary, of assuring adequate care or assistance. Authorizes appropriations of whatever sums are necessary to enable the joint committee to exercise its powers, functions, and duties.
