Directs the Joint Committee on the Library to purchase the statue of George Washington executed by the sculptor Trygve A. Rovelstad, of Elgin, Illinois. Provides that the committee shall not purchase such statue if a sum of money exceeding $50,000 is required for such purchase. Directs the Secretary of the Air Force to provide the necessary transportation of the statue.
