Summary
Establishes in the House of Representatives a Select Committee on Committees to conduct a thorough and complete study of: (1) the committee structure of the House; (2) the number of committees and their jurisdiction, committee rules and procedures; and (3) media coverage of meetings, staffing, space, equipment, and other committee facilities. Directs the Select Committee to report to the House by bill, resolution, or otherwise with respect to such matters not later than February 1, 1980.
