This resolution celebrates the 25th anniversary of the strategic partnership between the United States and Romania, congratulates Romania on this important milestone, and thanks the Romanian people for their steadfast friendship and contribution to the progress of our bilateral relationship. The resolution also reaffirms the close bonds between the United States and Romania, based on a common commitment to freedom, democracy, rule of law, and economic prosperity. Finally, the resolution calls on the executive branch of the federal government to continue to strengthen the strategic partnership between the United States and Romania and to find new ways to leverage, support, and develop the friendship and cooperation between our two nations.
