Summary
Recognizes the importance of protecting the American people from drinking water polluted with carcinogens. Urges state and local governments and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to set standards for hexavalent chromium in drinking water. Encourages the consideration of a tax break for purchase of a filtration system to mitigate the effects of hexavalent chromium.
