Summary

Makes it in order at any time through the legislative day of October 3, 2008, for the Speaker of the House of Representatives to entertain motions that the House suspend the rules. Requires the Speaker or her designee to consult with the Minority Leader or his designee on the designation of any matter for consideration pursuant to this resolution. Waives a specified requirement of Rule XIII (Calendar and Committee Reports) to allow consideration of any resolution reported through such legislative day, on the same day it is presented to the House.
