Rule provides for consideration of H.R. 3299. Previous question shall be considered as ordered without intervening motions except motion to recommit. All points of order against the bill are waived except sections 3131(b)(1)(A), 3156, 3201, 7001, and 7002. Measure will be considered read. Specified amendments are in order. The amendments printed in section 1 of the report of the Committee on Rules accompanying the resolution shall be considered as having been adopted. The amendments printed in section two of the report of the Committee on Rules shall be considered only in the order and manner specified. Said amendments may only be offered by the Member indicated in the report or his designee. Debate on amendments shall not exceed the time specified in the report. Amendments relating to catastrophic health insurance and those relating to child care are subject to the "king-of-the-hill" format.
