Summary

Authorizes each Member of the House of Representatives and the Resident Commissioner from Puerto Rico and the Delegates from the District of Columbia, Guam, and the Virgin Islands to hire for two weeks, during the period May 1 to May 31, inclusive, each year, two additional employees to be known as "senior citizen interns" who will serve as such within the District of Columbia. Requires each such intern to be sixty-five years of age or older. Provides each Member with a gross allowance of $400, payable from the contingent fund of the House, from which payment will be made to each intern at the rate of $100 per week.
