Declares that the House of Representatives: (1) reaffirms the principles of United Nations (UN) Security Council Resolution 1397 (calls for the immediate cessation of all acts of violence in the Middle East); and (2) expresses support for the efforts of the UN Secretary General, special envoys from the Russian Federation and the European Union, U.S. special envoy Anthony Zinni, and others to assist the parties to halt the violence and resume the peace process in the Middle East.
