Summary
Commends Taiwan for its development of coastal marine mammal protection measures. Encourages Taiwan to: (1) expedite the cessation of large-scale driftnet fishing and other practices destructive to dolphins; (2) add all coastal cetaceans, including false killer whales, to the list of protected species under the Wildlife Conservation Act of 1989 and rigorously enforce such Act; and (3) continue to work with other countries and conservation organizations to aid in the conservation of all natural resources.
