Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that the people of the Republic of Mozambique and President Joaquim Alberto Chissano are to be congratulated for their commitments to democracy, peace, and economic reform in their country and throughout southern Africa, and that it is in the interest of both the United States and the Republic of Mozambique to maintain and enhance continued close relations.
