Summary
Directs the Speaker of the House, after consultation with the minority leader, to appoint a select committee of the House composed of 14 members to investigate the charges made against the Vice President and to recommend to the House a course of action consistent with the findings of said select committee. States that such select committee shall commence its investigation under this resolution forthwith, to have the power to subpena witnesses and compel their attendance at such times and places as the committee shall determine and to report if findings to the House of Representatives, together with its recommendations, at the earliest practicable date. Authorizes to be appropriated out of the contingency fund of the House of Representatives such funds as may be required by the select committee to carry out the requirements of this resolution.
