Summary

Directs the Committee on Foreign Relations to undertake a full and complete review of United States participation in the Southeast Asia Collective Defense Treaty and Treaty Organization and to report to the Senate the Committee's findings and recommendations no later than March 31, 1974. Provides that such review shall include re-examination of the basic foreign policy considerations which originally lead the United States to join the SEATO Organization and reassessment of those considerations in the light of subsequent developments relating to that Organization and the foreign policy interests of the United States.
