Summary

Establishes a seven-member Select Committee of the Senate to investigate the role of the United States in the United Nations. Describes the purpose of the select committee which includes a study of the benefits to and burdens on the United States as a result of its participation in the organization. Directs the select committee to make recommendations on the future course to be pursued by the United States with respect to the United Nations. Authorizes the select committee to take specified actions necessary to carry out the duties imposed by this resolution. Authorizes the appropriation of no more than $500,000 to carry out the provisions of this resolution.
