Summary

Condemns the administration of President Viktor Yanukovych of Ukraine for the politically motivated imprisonment of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko. Calls for Ms. Tymoshenko's release for medical reasons. Urges the Department of State to withdraw the U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine and suspend U.S. embassy operations in Kiev until Ms. Tymoshenko's release. Calls on: (1) the Department of State to institute a visa ban against President Yanukovych and other officials responsible for Ms. Tymoshenko's imprisonment, and (2) the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) to suspend all cooperative agreements with Ukraine until Ms. Tymoshenko's release.
