Summary
Amends rule 25 of the Standing Rules of the Senate to remove certain prohibitions on Senators serving on the Committee on the Budget including the prohibition from serving on more than three subcommittees of such committee. Amends such Rule to delete the provisions (1) authorizing a Senator to serve on the Joint Committee on Congressional Operations in addition to certain other committees until it is terminated or until the sine die adjournment of the 95th Congress whichever first occurs; and (2) authorizing a Senator serving as chairman or vice chairman on the Subcommittee on Budget Authorization of the Select Committee on Intelligence to continue to serve on such select committee in addition to certain other committees.
