Summary

Original text of the question(s):

What conclusions did the Federal Government draw from the evaluation of Section 13b of the Building Code (BauGB), which was repealed with effect from January 1, 2024 due to its inconsistency with European law, for Section 246e BauGB-E, which was provided for in the draft law to accelerate housing construction and to secure living space, and what reasons does the Federal Government have to assume that the Federal Environment Agency's determination that the changes associated with the introduction of Section 13b BauGB The objectives of creating substantially new residential building land to reduce the housing shortage in municipalities with a particularly high need for housing and residential building space were not achieved and instead there was an increased allocation of residential building land in small municipalities, which also had shrinking or stagnating population numbers and were often located away from the growing urban regions in terms of settlement structure (UBA, TEXTE 93/2020), not also focusing on the structurally similar § 246e BauGB-E will have an impact?
