Original text of the question(s):<br /> <br /> Is the Federal Government drawing conclusions from the flow changes predicted in a current study by the Helmholtz Center Hereon (www.nature.com/articles/s43247-026-03186-8) - in particular the large-scale reduction in mean surface velocity by up to 20 percent and the changed bottom shear stress - for sedimentary coastal protection (see: "The identified changes in bottom currents and shear stress can become critical for erosion and sediment resuspension."), and is the federal government planning to provide federal support to the affected coastal communities in this regard (please explain and justify)?
