Summary
Eelnõu eesmärgiks on tagada, et kohalike omavalitsuste valimistel kandideerivad isikud oskaks eesti keelt vastavalt keeleseaduses sätestatud C1 keeletasemele, mis on vajalik juhtimisega seotud töökohtadel, kus tööülesannete hulka võib kuuluda tegevuste kavandamine ja koordineerimine, samuti nõustamine ning avalike ettekannete, sõnavõttude ja kirjalike tekstide koostamine jne. Ühesõnaga, otseselt kõik see, mida volikogu liige vajab volikogu töös, istungitel ja erinevates komisjonides.
