Summary
Eelnõuga soovitakse kehtestada sotsiaalmaksu ülempiir, et soodustada oluliselt kõrgepalgaliste tippspetsialistide Eestisse jäämist ja siia tulemist, samuti uute kõrgemapalgaliste ja teadmistel baseeruvate töökohtade loomist. Tippspetsialistidele soodsa maksukeskkonna loomisega soovitakse tekitada riikidevahelises konkurentsis motivatsioon kõrgepalgaliste töökohtade Eestisse toomiseks või siia jäämiseks. Eelnõu muudab oluliselt tootlike töökohtade maksukoormust ning annab sellega soovitakse anda ettevõtetele ja investoritele selge signaal, et Eestis hinnatakse edasiviivat ning läbimõeldud majandustegevust.
