Summary
Eelnõu näeb ette kehtestada Eestis mandaatide ühitamatuse põhimõte, mille kohaselt uus omandatud mandaat tühistab eelneva mandaadi. Isik, kes on juba valitud rahvaesindajaks, aga kandideerib edukalt veel teise esinduskogu liikmeks, jääb oma eelmisest esinduskogu kohast ilma. Kui Riigikogu liige osutub valituks kohaliku omavalitsuse volikokku, siis tühistub Riigikogu mandaat ja vastupidi.
