Summary

The purpose of the whistleblower protection draft law is to respond quickly and effectively to acts that are contrary to the law in order to ensure the functioning of the legal order and the protection of public interests. The bill establishes the conditions and scope of the protection of whistleblowers who have become aware of a violation through professional activity. The personal and substantive scope of whistleblower protection, the conditions and extent of receiving protection, and the ways and channels of reporting. For protection there is it is required that the person has reasonable grounds to believe that the violation has directly started or has been completed, the violation falls within the scope of the law in question, and the notification is made in accordance with the law in question.
