Summary
Eelnõuga reformitakse väärtegude toimepanemisele järgnevaid õiguslikke tagajärgi ning luuakse võimalus Euroopa Liidu õiguses sätestatud haldustrahvide kohaldamiseks väärteomenetluses. Väärteo toimepanemisele järgnevate õiguslike tagajärgede reformimiseks nähakse ette järgmised suuremad muudatused: 1) Rahatrahvi sidumine süüdlase sissetulekuga ohtlikumate väärtegude korral 2) Kiirmenetluses kohaldatava karistuse vähendamine 1/3 võrra 3) Väärteomenetluses põhi- või lisakaristusena kohaldatud juhtumisõiguse äravõtmisest tingimisi vabastamine 4) Rahatrahvi vabatahtliku tasumise tähtaja pikendamine ning rahatrahvi ositi tasumise tähtsustamine.
