Summary
Eelnõu näeb ette tunnistada kehtetuks Eestis elavate välismaalaste, välja arvatud Euroopa Liidu kodanike, hääletamisõigus kohalikel valimistel. Praeguse seaduse järgi võivad kohalikel valimistel osaleda ka välismaalased, kes elavad Eestis pikaajalise elamisloa või alalise elamisõiguse alusel ja kes on valimispäevaks saanud 16-aastaseks ning kelle püsiva elukoha aadressiandmed on kantud Eesti rahvastikuregistrisse.
