Summary
Seaduse muutmisega lükatakse kahe aasta võrra edasi kestlikkusaruande koostamise ja esitamise kohustus neile ettevõtetele, kellel oleks see kohustus tekkinud 2025. ja 2026. aaasta majandusaasta kohta. Edasilükkamine puudutab väikese ja keskmise suurusega ettevõtteid, kindlustusandjaid ning väiksemaid finantsasutusi, kokku umbes 300 ettevõtet. Suurettevõtetele jääb kehtima senine kord – nemad peavad esitama aruande 2025. aastal algava majandusaasta kohta. Aruandluskohustuse edasilükkamise eesmärk on vältida tarbetuid kulusid ja liigset halduskoormust, eriti esmakordsete aruandluskohuslaste puhul. Võimaldada ettevõtetel paremini kohaneda majanduslike ja geopoliitiliste muutustega. Toetada Euroopa rohelise kokkuleppe eesmärkide täitmist mõistlikul ja ettevõtetele jõukohasel viisil. Samal ajal valmistab Euroopa Komisjon ette täiendavat muudatuste paketti, et kestlikkusaruandluse nõudeid edaspidi veelgi lihtsustada. Eesti seisab selle eest, et tulevikus oleks aruandlus vabatahtlik või vähemalt mitte sagedamini kui kord kolme aasta jooksul.
