Summary

The bill envisages changes in the regulation of plant protection training to make it more flexible. In the future, the main prerequisite for obtaining a plant protection certificate is not only the completion of plant protection training, but also the presence of relevant knowledge, as evidenced by the successful completion of the plant protection training exam. In addition, TaimKS is supplemented with the possibility of using plant protection products from unmanned aerial vehicles. Use of plant protection products from aircraft and from helicopters remains prohibited, but their spraying from drones is permitted under certain conditions. Also, the annual training requirement established for those performing the technical inspection of plant protection equipment will be eased and procedural processes will be made more flexible.
