Summary
Eelnõu seadusena jõustumine muudab kindlustusturu paindlikumaks ja vähendab ettevõtjate halduskoormust. Olulisema muudatusena saavad kindlustusmaaklerid hakata kindlustuse pakkumisel kasutama esindajaid. See loob klientidele uue võimaluse kindlustuslepingu sõlmimiseks ja aitab suurendada kindlustuse kättesaadavust. Esindajatele kehtivad samad kindlustuse turustamise nõuded nagu maakleritele ja agentidele ning nende tegevuse eest vastutab kindlustusmaakler. Esindajatele laieneb samuti finantsinspektsiooni järelevalve. Lisaks lihtsustatakse piiriülest kindlustustegevust. Teise riigi kindlustusandja saab edaspidi Eestis püsivalt tegutseda ilma siin filiaali asutamata ning sama võimalus tekib Eesti kindlustusandjatel teistes riikides tegutsemisel. Halduskoormuse vähendamiseks kaotatakse ka kindlustusmaakleri kohustus avaldada majandusaasta aruanne oma veebilehel ja asukohas.
