The draft updates notary fees, which have not been changed for years, and abolishes the fee for remote notarial verification. In summary, the draft revises the entire system of notary fees, the biggest change concerns the payment of company operations and fees related to real estate transactions. Since the fee rates have not been updated for years, many notaries already find it difficult to cover the costs related to service provision and office management. It primarily concerns areas where the value of real estate transactions is lower. If running a notary office is not economically sustainable enough, it becomes difficult to find new notaries to replace those who leave the office.
