Based on the agreement, Estonia and Japan can issue multiple-entry visas for up to 12 months with the right to work to citizens of the two countries aged 18-30. The international agreement gives the right to work without prior registration of a visa at the Police and Border Guard Board. According to the Aliens Act, a foreigner temporarily staying in Estonia can work here without registering his employment, if his right to work in Estonia derives directly from the law or the Riigikogu of the ratified foreign agreement. Estonia has concluded a similar agreement with Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
