Ms. Marie Silin draws the attention of the Minister of the Interior to an imbalance in the distribution of national orders. Indeed, the Ministry of the Interior has committed for the year 2021 to granting an internal security medal to people who have particularly distinguished themselves by their actions or their dedication. This distinction is intended to reward particularly honorable service, such as during a exceptional commitment, an intervention in a particular context, a humanitarian action or the accomplishment of an action beyond the normal framework of the service, rendered by any person for missions or designated actions relating to internal security. While we can congratulate this approach, it seems necessary to have more information regarding the delivery of these medals. Indeed, today, feedback from the field part of an imbalance, the Ministry of the Interior too rarely honoring police officers when other corporations benefit from more numerous responsibilities. In the current context, the national police are particularly requested and mobilized to ensure the security of citizens. To distinguish, in recognition of the Nation, these committed women and men, sometimes to the point of supreme sacrifice, would be a strong symbol both in internally, as well as towards citizens.
