That this House congratulates Mr Michael More-Molyneux CVO on the completion of eleven years of distinguished service as His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey, a role he has held since 2015; thanks him for his dedication to public service, his steadfast support for communities, voluntary organisations, businesses and civic institutions across the county, and his commitment to promoting Surrey and representing the Crown with dignity, integrity and distinction; recognises his leadership in celebrating and encouraging the contribution of individuals and organisations to county life; welcomes the appointment of Mrs Neelam Dharni Devesher MBE DL as the new Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey following her appointment by His Majesty The King; notes her longstanding record of public service, community leadership and commitment to inclusion, equality of opportunity and community cohesion across Surrey; and wishes both Michael More-Molyneux and Neelam Devesher every success for the future as Surrey marks this important transition in its civic life.

That an humble Address be presented to His Majesty, that he will be graciously pleased to give directions that there be laid before this House the legal advice received by His Majesty's Government relating to the lawfulness and legal robustness of the local government reorganisation programme, including the decisions made in March 2026 in respect of Essex, Hampshire, Norfolk and Suffolk and the subsequent withdrawal of those decisions.
