Summary
That this House registers its strong concern that the level of funding allocated to Essex Police is ú47 million short of its estimated budgetary requirements; recognises that the Government allocation of ú151 million is insufficient to police the County of Essex to the level which its residents are entitled to expect; and calls on the Government to increase funding to match the budgetary requirements of Essex Police.
