HAMDT 496 (97th)
An amendment making a technical change in the bill. The bill permits the Secretary to authorize safety modifications of dams "notwithstanding any other provision of law". The amendment says such authority is not to supersede the Act of December 22, 1944; 58 Stat. 888, P. L. 534, 78th Congress.
