HAMDT 744 (103rd)
An amendment offered as a substitute to the Vento amendment to renew military land withdrawals for 25 years for the China Lake and Chocolate Mountain reserves, and to allow continued Naval use of the El Centro facility through 1996. The amendment would also permit low-level military overflights in the adjacent wilderness and park areas.
