Summary

Amends the Federal Energy Administration Act of 1974 to authorize appropriations through fiscal year 1977 to the Federal Energy Administration to carry out the functions of the (1) Executive Director and Administration; (2) Office of Energy Policy and Analysis; (3) Office of Regulatory Programs; (4) Office of Conservation and the Environment; (5) Office of Energy Resource Development; and (6) Office of International Energy Affairs. Stipulates that funds appropriated for the Executive Director and Administration shall not be used to carry out the functions of the Office of Nuclear Affairs. Limits the amount of such funds which may be used for the Office of Communications and Public Affairs. Directs the Administrator of the Federal Energy Administration to provide information to Congress and the public with respect to the Project Independent Evaluation System computer model. Extends the duration of authorizations under such Act through fiscal year 1979.
