Summary

Thurgood Marshall Commemorative Coin Act - Directs the Secretary of the Treasury to mint and issue $1 Silver Coins emblematic of the tenure of Associate Justice Thurgood Marshall on the Supreme Court of the United States. Requires the Secretary to select the design for the coins after consultation with the Supreme Court Historical Society, Marshall's family, and the Commission of Fine Arts. All sales of coins issued under this Act shall include a surcharge of $10 per coin. Requires prompt payment of all surcharges to the Historical Preservation Committee of the Supreme Court Historical Society for the purpose of collecting and preserving the physical history of the Supreme Court.
