Summary
Declares it to be the policy of Congress to promote the use of nonpolluting fuels and to equalize the Federal tax treatment of liquified natural gas and compressed petroleum gas. Provides, under the Internal Revenue Code, that for purposes of the retail excise tax on special fuels, liquified petroleum gas and liquified natrual gas shall be deemed to be compressed petroleum gas or compressed natural gas, as the case may be. (Amends 26 U.S.C. 4041)
