Summary

Provides that any provision of a contract restricting the right of a professional athlete to enter into a contract with another person or team for the same purpose as that for which the original contract was made shall be unenforceable. Provides a fine of up to $50,000, imprisonment for one year, or both, for a violation of this Act.
